Awaken the Body Current and Prime the Neural Pathways with Yoga and Live Music

The Body Current® is revolutionary empowering system of simple and highly effective transformational body-centered practices designed to gently reprogram trauma and old conditioning in the mind/body/cellular map through radical present moment awareness, acceptance and allowing of our innate intelligence. This live music experiential class will explore somatic and yoga therapy practices to awaken and ignite the current of communication and sensation cultivated and activated by priming the neural pathways through pranayam, mudra, mantra and asana for all levels of practice.
Shanti Medina, RYT CPT CNSF, created Energize training systems and Body Current® therapeutics after 15 plus years designing personal therapy and transformation programs for clients infusing simple and highly effective yoga therapy and nueuromuscular exercises with the mindfulness practices of awareness, acceptance and allowing. Her highly applicable Body Current® modality combines the latest research in neuroscience with evidence-based and empirically proven teachings of the ancients to awaken the innate mind/body intelligence. She is a certified Neurosculpting® Facilitator and is a faculty member of the Neurosculpting Institute in Denver, CO where she teaches her Body Current® curriculum as a part of the Neurosculpting® Facilitator Certification program. Shanti’s roots stem from her advanced studies and certifications in Personal Training, Neuromuscular and Somatic Therapy, Traumatic Brain and Trauma Therapy, Wellness Coaching, and Yoga Therapy. She is most respected for her ability to support her clients and students in transformation and self-realization. Her simple and highly accessible embodied mindfulness tools create a safe and highly effective environment for healing and empowerment. Shanti is also the Marketing Director for the national non-profit, Give Back Yoga Foundation.

Announcing the recently released double-CD SoMAntra®: where soma and mantra are one! This is a unique embodied kirtan experience combining the ancient practice of chant with somatic intelligence practices designed to down-regulate the limbic system and empower our innate wisdom. This event is open to all levels of experience. We will explore the neuroscience behind chanting while experiencing an embodied practice of sacred, ecstatic chants.
Scott and Shanti are a dynamic husband-wife duo from Boulder, CO, sharing their love and devotion to uplift humanity through their ecstatic music events and inspiring immersions. Their very popular sacred sound workshops, ecstatic community chanting events, and inspiring neuroscience and spiritual retreats offer a sweet and deep dive into self-realization of the abiding innate mind/body intelligence.
