Retail Purchaser/Merchandiser/Front Desk
True Nature Healing Arts is seeking an experienced retail purchaser and merchandiser who will also have responsibilities at our front desk. This person should be organized, with administrative skills in addition to the above mentioned retail buying experience. Necessary qualities include: energetic fire and a desire to share our offerings; devotion; hospitality; ability to track multiple tasks at once; attention to procedure and detail; and a love of connecting with people.
Desk duties will include greeting and welcoming arriving guests, checking students in to yoga classes, booking and scheduling spa appointments, connecting with guests, relating the benefits and qualities of our many offerings, and spreading the intention and excitement of True Nature’s mission.
Retail duties will consist of researching and purchasing retail items in alignment with our ethic of consciously-sourced sustainability, communicating with manufacturers, ordering, working within a prescribed budget, establishing pricing, merchandising strategically and aesthetically, restocking, keeping offerings fresh, planning seasonal promotions, clearing inventory, and educating staff and guests about the products we feature.
True Nature’s mission is to foster community through offering healing, wellness, self-study, and inspiration. We are looking for staff in alignment with our ethic of community, service, healing, mindfulness, and devotion.
Time commitment is about 30-40 hours/week. Some weekend availability is required. Compensation is hourly to begin, with opportunity to increase earning and level of responsibility. Position available immediately.
