The ultimate goal in yoga is moksha, or liberation. Through the ancient practices of asana (postures), pranayama (breath), chanting and meditation learn to unlock your personal potential to relax into liberation of heart, mind and body. In this two-part, one day retreat, join Evan and Ashley to delve deeper into your personal yoga practice and unlock your personal power and potential.
We’ll use the systematic Viniyoga approach to prepare the body and mind to sit and receive the benefits of these teachings. You will bring the questions in your heart to consciousness and shine the light on the answers that already reside within.

About the teachers…
For Ashley, yoga is returning home to her higher self. The practice brings her back into balance physically, mentally and emotionally. Yoga settles her into a state of peace, no matter what chaos might be swirling in or around her, and provides a steady rock to withstand the tides of change. Ashley studies and teaches along the therapeutic-based Viniyoga lineage, learning from Gary Kraftsow, Desikachar and Krisnamacharya—authentic translations of yoga tradition that include asana, pranayama, chanting, prayer, ritual, and the study of yogic texts.
Evan has been evolving her practice since 2002 and teaching since 2007. Her classes are an artful fusion of sthira (stability) and sukha (ease). She strives to teach safe alignment, deep asana, and an introspective breath while empowering her students to enlighten from the inside out. Evan received her RYT-200 from CorePower Yoga and her RYT-500 with Gary Kraftsow at the American Viniyoga Institute. She has over 1000+ hours of teacher training experience and is currently working towards her MA in Yoga Therapy
