Sound Journeys offer a restorative, embodied experience that supports both nervous system regulation and inner awareness. Through sustained vibration, rhythm, and silence, sound engages the parasympathetic nervous system while also creating space for reflection, insight, and deep listening. The experience invites participants to slow down, settle attention, and reconnect with a felt sense of balance and presence.

Held in the Kiva, this journey weaves together bells, chimes, flute, didgeridoo, and gongs to support a meditative state. The layering of sound and stillness helps quiet habitual mental activity, allowing the body and mind to shift toward coherence and ease.

From a physiological perspective, sound and vibration influence heart rate variability, breath patterns, and muscle tone—key markers of nervous system health. Low-frequency vibrations can support vagal tone and reduce sympathetic arousal, while harmonic resonance is often experienced as grounding, centering, and emotionally regulating.

Sacred sound has long been used across cultures as a contemplative and spiritual practice—a way of attuning to something larger than the individual self. In this context, sound becomes both a sensory experience and a meditative anchor, supporting clarity, connection, and a sense of inner alignment.

Krista Cashin will offer Healing Touch Therapy support throughout the evening. This gentle, evidence-informed practice uses light contact at the shoulders, face, and neck to support relaxation and energetic integration, with optional essential oils available.
