CARE FOR CAREGIVERS

  • True Nature Kiva 100 North Third Street Carbondale United States (map)

Thursday, August 20th
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
True Nature Kiva

Caregivers, you are in for a treat!

If you're feeling depleted, longing for a pause, or simply ready to receive, come join us in the Kiva. This month, we'll connect together through a beautiful breathwork ceremony held by the fabulous Taryn Giroux.

This is a guided, music-driven journey using conscious connected breath to gently move you into an altered state, where real energetic shifts can happen. Expect heightened emotional, energetic, and physical sensations, all held in a warm, safe, and intentional container.

Taryn is a certified breathwork facilitator, Reiki practitioner, ordained spiritual minister, and longtime trauma-informed ceremony holder. She brings a grounded, nervous-system-aware presence to breath, sound, and gentle movement, and a genuine care for whoever walks through the door.

No experience necessary. No proof of caregiving. Just bring yourself.
Registration is required and space is limited in order to hold this circle with real intimacy.

Come release. Come receive. Leave lighter, clearer, and a little more you.

Sponsored with love by Lead with Love, CASA of the Ninth, and Connection is the Medicine Foundation.

This is a community offering designed to support those who give so much to the wellbeing of others.
We have initiated a small registration fee of $5 to help support commitment and care for this offering. As this gathering has become quite popular and often fills quickly, we’ve experienced an increase in last-minute no-shows. We kindly ask that you register with intention, and if your plans change, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone eagerly waiting.

If the registration fee is prohibitive in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to megan@connectionisthemedicine.com to waive the fee.

Testimonials:
”The Care For Caregivers mini series has become a go to for me. As a care giver for very young children I often feel overlooked, overused and completely depleted in my job. The time that I have spent amongst other care givers has proven to offer me the perfect opportunity to set some time aside to practice self-care, self-reflection, self-affirmation and self-love. As a care giver, I struggle to find the time and avenues to take care of myself in the world where I am always meeting the needs of others, first. I have learned so many valuable mindfulness techniques and tips that I will carry with me forever and am especially grateful to the incredible educators, professionals and leaders that have been brought in to nurture, guide, teach and take care of ME! Thank you.”

“Having a moment to stop, to breathe and to feel the silence within felt like I could breathe again. I didn't realize how much I needed these sessions until afterwards!”
