Tuesday, December 15th | 5:00pm-6:15pm | True Nature Kiva

Join True Nature + Connection is the Medicine Foundation for an evening with co-founder Eaden Shantay. Guided meditation practice with a focus on Self-Inquiry, the very heart of Jnana yoga, the yoga of self-knowledge. Discussion will follow practice.

Eaden will lead a meditation rooted in the Vedantic practice of Atma Vichara (Self-Inquiry), an invitation to explore the deeper nature of the Self (loving awareness). Following the meditation, participants are welcome to engage in a Q&A exploring insights and questions that arise, approached through the lens of the yogic tradition.

This gathering is open to seekers of all levels, no prior experience is necessary. Connect and share in thoughtful dialogue with a like-minded community.

Meet Your Guide: EADEN SHANTAY

Eaden Shantay is co-founder of True Nature Healing Arts in Carbondale, CO, and Loma Sagrada in Nosara, Costa Rica, and co-presides with his wife Deva over the Connection is the Medicine Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to inspiration, connection and self-discovery, which oversees and supports the well-being of True Nature.

A passionate seeker for over 35 years, Eaden has a deep love for personal growth, family, community, the natural world, and creating sacred spaces. His path weaves Western and Eastern traditions: a bachelor's in environmental biology, a master's in clinical psychology, 35 years on the Sacred Red Road of Native American spirituality including Sun Dancing at Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota, and three decades studying Vedanta, the Vedic science of self-knowledge.

Loma Sagrada (Sacred Knoll) is a private retreat with gardens designed on permaculture and biodynamic principles. Eaden and Deva's projects have received 5 architectural awards for True Nature and Loma Sagrada.

Eaden leads monthly Temazcal ceremonies at Loma Sagrada and hosts the bi-weekly podcast Connection is the Medicine. He lives in Nosara, Costa Rica with Deva, and together they lead conscious living retreats, workshops, and yoga teacher trainings.
