Move with Purpose. Dance with Heart. Give with Joy.
Join us for Bija Beat: A high-energy, all-levels dance experience designed to wake up your body, open your heart, and set the tone for a beautiful weekend ahead.
The one-hour Bija Beat, feel-good dance class with live music fuses high-energy dance, music, cardio, creativity, and philanthropy into an experience that uplifts your body, mind, and spirit - and gives back with every beat. Every rhythm, every drop of sweat, every smile plants a seed of creativity in a child’s heart through Celebrate The Beat, our partner nonprofit bringing transformative arts education to schools.
MEET YOUR GUIDE: Tracy Straus
Tracy Straus is the founder of Bija Beat, an innovative movement practice that fuses fitness, artistry, and purpose to support holistic wellbeing. Diagnosed with scoliosis at 14 and required to wear a back brace 23 hours a day, Tracy discovered the healing power of dance during a weekly hour of freedom—a revelation that continues to guide her life’s work. She also founded Celebrate the Beat, a nonprofit now celebrating 25 years of bringing transformative dance education to more than 55,000 children across Colorado, and serves as an Artistic Associate with the National Dance Institute. A trained dancer and actress with experience on Broadway and off, Tracy developed Bija Beat during a fellowship at New York University’s Center for Ballet and the Arts.
