Whether you love hiking, skiing, running, lifting, gardening, or simply want to move through everyday life with less stiffness and more confidence, healthy movement is the foundation.
In this interactive workshop, you'll learn how to evaluate your own movement, identify your biggest mobility limitations, and practice simple techniques that can improve how you feel and perform.
Drawing from evidence-based mobility principles inspired by Dr. Kelly Starrett and The Ready State, this workshop combines education with hands-on movement so you'll leave knowing exactly what your body needs—not just for today, but for the long term.
During this workshop you'll:
Learn what mobility really is—and why it matters
Complete simple self-assessments for ankles, hips, shoulders, and thoracic spine
Discover how mobility affects strength, balance, walking, hiking, lifting, and injury prevention
Practice effective mobility drills and movement strategies
Learn how breathing and positioning influence movement quality
Receive guidance on which areas deserve your attention and how to continue improving at home
You'll leave with:
A better understanding of your own movement
Practical mobility exercises tailored to your needs
A simple daily mobility routine you can continue on your own
Greater confidence moving with ease in everyday life and outdoor adventures
This workshop is appropriate for all fitness levels.
No previous experience is necessary.
MEET YOUR GUIDE: Carolyn Williams
Carolyn Williams is the founder of NEVE, a women's strength and performance gym opening in Carbondale, Colorado on October 1, 2026.
A former educator with a Master's in Education from Harvard University, Carolyn combines a passion for teaching with evidence-based coaching to help people move better, become stronger, and stay active throughout life. Her coaching philosophy blends principles of functional strength, mobility, and movement quality, drawing inspiration from leading experts including Kelly Starrett and The Ready State.
Whether coaching in the gym, on the trail, or in the classroom, Carolyn believes understanding why your body moves the way it does is the first step toward lasting health, resilience, and confidence.
